The death of Whitney Houston on February 11, 2012 at only 48 years old has created a huge buzz on YouTube contributing to over 8 Million uploaded YouTube videos.

Prior to her Death the Guinness World Records recognized Whitney Houston as the most awarded female artist of all time, with 2 Emmy Awards, 30 Billboard Music Awards, 6 Grammy Awards, 22 American Music awards and over 300 various awards bring her total to 415 career awards.

 

Whitney Houston was also recognized as the all time record female solo artist for most American Music Awards, and shares the record with the King of Pop Michael Jackson for the record if winning 8 American Music Awards in one year. Whitney also maintained the record of 11 Billboard Music Awards in one year in 1993 and the most Women Music Awards of 5 awarded in 1994.One of Whitney Houston's most popular YouTube videos is her singing of the Star Spangled Banner, America's National Anthem and a truly beautiful song capturing the hearts of Millions of Fans.

 

Whitney Houston also performed as the star of the movie The Body Guard starring Whitney as the main character Rachel Marron, being protected by a bodyguard played by Kevin Costner in her debut movie. This film was the second-highest-grossing film worldwide of 1992 and the movies soundtrack became the best-selling soundtrack of all time, selling more than 45 million copies worldwide.
